Collapse is a fun, skill-building game for everyone.
Collapse is a tabletop game of concentration for 2 to 4 players. The aim is to keep the tower standing as long as possible — taking turns removing sticks and placing them on top of the tower.
To start, build a tower of sticks, three sticks per storey. Each new storey is laid in the opposite direction to the one below, so the tasks printed on the sticks face down. In total there are 18 storeys.
How to play
Players take turns removing one stick from the middle or lower storeys, using only one hand. The stick is then placed on top of the tower to form a new storey.
This is where the game gets interesting.
Each stick has a task written on it. To pass the turn to the next player, the player who removed the stick must complete the task.
If you do not complete the task, you still place that stick on top of the tower and must pull another penalty stick — and so on until you complete the task on a stick.
You may nudge the sticks slightly to feel which one is easier to remove. Play continues in turns until the tower collapses.
The game ends the moment the tower falls. The player whose turn it is when the tower collapses loses.
Collapse develops:
- Dexterity and motor skills,
- Focus and patience,
- Constructive thinking.
