Rules of the game
Variant 1
Number of players – 2 to 4
Turn order is decided before the game starts, by age, youngest first.
Each player takes their internal-organs diagram. The shuffled pile of question cards is placed in the centre, and each player in turn, clockwise, takes one card. Players read the question aloud in turn: first the player whose turn it was to draw the question answers, then the other 3 players, clockwise, suggest other possible answers. If the answer is correct, the first claim on the organ piece goes in the same order. Whoever answered the question correctly takes the piece for the organ the question was about and places it on the matching picture on their diagram.
The winner is the first player to complete the diagram of the body’s vital organs in full. If, after all the cards have been revealed, no diagram is complete, the player who has guessed the most organs wins.
Variant 2: play in pairs
Number of players – 4
Players split into pairs of 2. Each player has their own diagram, but they win only when both of them have a fully completed organ diagram.
The question cards are again placed in the centre. In this variant the questions are not read aloud for everyone: each player reads the question they drew for themselves, then places on their diagram the organ they think is the correct answer. Then it is checked whether the answer was correct.
If that player later draws a question that they think refers to an organ they already have on their diagram, they may pass the question to their partner — without saying which organ it is for; the teammate must work that out themselves.
If a question comes up whose answer-organ both already have, then after correctly answering and collecting 3 such cards, they may be exchanged for one needed organ. When one of the pair completes every organ on their diagram, they leave the chain and go to help their teammate; they continue the game together and give correct answers together, and extra correctly answered cards are passed to the partner.
When both players in a pair have completed their diagrams, the pair wins. The pair also wins if the cards run out and together they have more collected organs than their opponents.
