Never Have I Ever

5 500 AMD

Hello, young person — at least in spirit. I am the Magician — the official representative of the game “Never Have I Ever”. I have come to fill your life with a little magic, but I hope you are not expecting “abracadabras”. Together we will play “Never Have I Ever…” — a slightly magical version of the internationally known Never have I ever… Shall I start with the rules, or with the good bits… Let’s start with the good bits (nobody likes rules).

The real aim of the game is to liven up friendly gatherings and create warm moments. Another aim is to get the players to be honest… Besides that, they say that these days there is a high demand for creative people. Well, I — your humble servant the Magician — am about to develop your creativity and at the same time open your eyes to phenomena of life you have not yet encountered… No, no need to be afraid, it will be fun (unless you are playing with spoilsports)…

Now a few numbers. The game has 2 sections — “Never Have I Ever…” and “The Magician” — each with 100 numbered cards. Each card in the “Never Have I Ever…” section has a sister card with me, the Magician, matching by number. The game starts by drawing a card from the “Never Have I Ever…” section. Those who have done what is written on the card at some point in their lives fold a finger; those who have not come to me to feel the power of magic. Taking from me the card that matches the number of the “Never Have I Ever…” card, our “still inexperienced” ones carry out my suggestions in order to make the magic happen. After completing the task, the inexperienced are enchanted and become experienced, and may fold a finger.

Ah, I forgot to say: the winner is the player with the most folded fingers — in other words, the one who has seen the most of life and is the bravest. Now you will say we have 20 fingers at best, but that is not how it is — you will fold those 20 too. Each time you reach 10 fingers, jot it down somewhere (see? I have already loosened up and slipped into an informal style)… Be creative, be creative…

It is better to play and do magic indoors, and with friends, so the muggles are not bothered for no reason… I warn you: if you play with people who are not that close, awkward moments are possible — don’t say I didn’t tell you… From time to time you will need the internet, colours, scissors, and bits and bobs, so it is better to play at home, or you will somehow manage… Be creative, be creative…

IMPORTANT

  1. Be honest, so it is fun.
  2. The Magician will not be able to help you in every case.

Well, I will not go on too long — we are still going to get to know each other veeery well. I am waiting for you at my place…

Be creative, be creative…
